Homeopathy originated in Germany over 200 years ago and is one of the natural medicines used to treat many health problems. It works from the inside to out by increasing the body’s innate ability to heal itself. The remedies emulate a natural vaccination for sickness and disease. Homeopathy is based upon the law of similars or “like cures like.”  For example a patient with a violent flu that consisted of much vomiting may be cured of the condition by taking a homeopathic remedy of Ipecac – which actually induces vomiting. Homeopathic remedies are effective in acute and chronic conditions because they are based upon the entire patient’s health constitution: mental, emotion and physical.

What can I expect?

Your initial Homeopathic consultation typically takes two and a half hours in time, and will include a complete health history. There is some paperwork, so we advise you to arrive about 15 minutes early to fill that out.  The rest of the time is spent WITH the doctor, talking about all your history, lifestyle and more!
