Visions Massage & Bodywork Policies

PAYMENT

All payments are to be made prior to the massage treatments.We accept cash, and all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.  All credit cards are processed through PayPal;  you will be asked to fill out a credit card processing form whenever using credit cards as your method of payment.  Gratuities can be left on the credit card or given directly to the therapist after the massage is completed.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Gift Certificates are available to purchase, but they must be for a party other than the one who is purchasing the gift certificate. Gift Certificates that are given away at trade-shows or for other promotional reasons expire one (1) year from the issue date. PURCHASED GIFT CERTIFICATES NEVER EXPIRE!

If you'd like to redeem a gift certificate that was given to you at a promotional event after it has expired, there is a one time fee of $35.00.

REFERRAL POLICY

If you refer three (3) new clients to Visions Massage & Bodywork, you will get a free one hour massage. However, the following restrictions do apply.

   The new clients cannot be in your same household.

 If you refer a group, it only counts as one referral.

The referrals must come from different locations.

We will honor as many referrals as you can supply.

SPECIFIC THERAPIST REQUESTS

Specific Therapist Requests are only granted to existing clients and subject to the availability of that therapist and the times they have available.  Your request will be taken into account when booking your appointment.

REFUNDS

We generally cannot offer refunds unless your therapist simply does not show up.  At the same time, we really do want you to be happy, and if there is any problem with your massage, we'd like you to tell us about it. We'll see what we can do.

RECEIPTS

Please ask for a receipt at time of payment.  We can print out your statement at anytime!

FEEDBACK / REVIEWS

Any customer feedback or reviews of therapists, etc. that are submitted to Visions Massage & Bodywork by clients or
potential clients may be used in publicity material such as website promotions, brochures, newsletters, or other publications.

CONSENT

I understand that the massage I receive is for the basic purpose of relaxation, stress reduction and relief of muscular tension. If I experience any pain or discomfort during this session, I will immediately inform the practitioner so that the pressure and/or strokes may be adjusted to my level of comfort.

I further understand that massage should not be construed as the substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment and that I should see a physician, chiropractor or other qualified medical specialist for any mental or physical ailment I am aware of. I understand that massage therapists are not to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat any physical or mental illness, and that nothing said in the course of the session(s) given should be construed as such.

I affirm that I have stated all my known medical conditions, and answered all questions honestly. I agree to keep the practitioner updated as to any changes in my medical profile, and understand that there shall be no liability on the practitioner's part should I forget to do so.

It is also understood that any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances made by me will result in immediate termination of the session.

I understand that a 1 hour massage time includes dressing and undressing. The actual hands on time can be anywhere from 50 to 55 minutes. In addition, I understand that no contact information between me and the Visions Massage & Bodywork therapist shall be exchanged at any point before, during or after the session. I also understand that Visions Massage & Bodywork may use my past credit card information to charge any missed appointments, and I hereby give Visions Massage & Bodywork consent to do so.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you have to cancel your appointment, you must call a minimum of 24 hours before your appointment of you will be charged for the missed appointment in the following manner:

•    If you currently have a package, you will be charged one of your package massages.

•    If you do not have a package with us, you will be charged the full, regular price for the type of massage you had booked.

LATENESS POLICY

If you are late, that time is simply taken off the time for the massage.  Massages are usually scheduled back-to-back throughout the day, and one late person could throw the entire schedule off for the day.  If you are not present within 20 minutes of your appointment time you will lose the time-slot and you will be charged the full amount of the appointment.

MASSAGE DURATION POLICY

A 60 minute massage time includes dressing and undressing. The actual hands on time will be approximately 50-55 minutes.

AGE POLICY

If you're 18 or under, an adult (parent or guardian) must be present in the office at all times during the massage.

RIGHT TO REFUSE

We reserve the right to refuse potential clients for any reason.

Lastly, to have the best experience with Visions Massage & Bodywork, we encourage clients to turn all phone ringers off to avoid interruptions.
